I started in photography as a teenager. I had a 35mm Canon. My cousin and I would make frequent trips to Ann Arbor to photograph the wildlife there. My passion continued throughout my Army career and beyond.
In 1998 some friends of ours asked me to photograph their wedding. I did so reluctantly, but found that I enjoyed it. Thus started my "Professional Career" as a photographer.
I have continued to capture friends and family. I still work a full time job at Severstal Steel in Dearborn, MI. As my photography advances, eventually I hope and dream to achieve full time status as "photographer".
In other realms of my very busy life, I am running a small non-profit organization for children with Retinitis Pigmentosa. A degenerative eye disorder that my oldest son has. You can find out more of what we are doing at www.asighttoremember.org.
